The NASCAR Week That Was: Oct. 25-31
Happy Halloween! Kyle Busch and his No. 18 team led the news this week as Joe Gibbs Racing announced they would replace crew chief Steve Addington. Dave Rogers, crew chief of the #20 Nationwide team, was named as his replacement. AJ Allmendinger and Michael Waltrip also made headlines for off track activities. Allmendinger was fined and placed on probation after being arrested for DWI early Thursday morning in Mooresville, North Carolina. Waltrip was involved in an accident, also in Mooresville, last Wednesday night. Police said alcohol played a role. And finally NASCAR said this weekend they plan changes to the COT after meeting with drivers and team officials last week. This is the NASCAR week that was October 25 to 31, 2009.
